Socks are often overlooked, underappreciated, and taken for granted. For those struggling with homelessness, a donation of clean, warm socks can be truly life-changing. That's why Freeland Foot and Ankle Clinic is proud to introduce our 3rd Annual Warming Soles Sock Drive. Keep reading to learn how you can help us reach our goal and donate much-needed socks to those who need them the most.

When is the Warming Soles Sock Drive?

We will be accepting donations of new socks for the whole month of February. Please only bring new, unused socks. We are not taking donations of shoes or slippers at this time (that's what our Annual Flip Flop the World Shoe Drive is for.)

How Can I Donate?socks

To participate in the Sock Drive, donations of new socks can be dropped off at our Freeland, MI office, located at 7305 Midland Rd, Suite 2 during our normal office hours. You can check out our office hours here

Let's get your whole family, class, or office involved!

Set up a bin in your home, office, or classroom and encourage others to donate a few pairs of new socks. Then, drop them off at our office before the end of February. If your workplace, business, or other organization wants to make a donation, contact us! We'd love to get a picture of your team and their donations to give a big shout-out to!

Where Will My Donations Go?donations to the east side soup kitchen

After tallying up all the donations, our team will take a trip to the East Side Soup Kitchen in Saginaw, MI to drop them off. From there, the socks will be distributed to those in need of some warmth during these cold winter months. Wearing clean, dry socks is a great way to ensure your feet stay warm, healthy, and happy.
